Financial Clarity Through Separation

Calm, confidence, and control — before pressure, before decisions, before costly mistakes.

When a relationship is coming to an end, the emotional noise can be loud. The financial questions are often quieter but no less frightening.

You may not know what matters, what doesn’t, or which decisions can wait. You may feel unsure who to trust, what questions to ask, or where to begin.

Before you speak to a lawyer or make decisions that can’t be undone, it can help to pause — and get clear.

I work alongside women during separation to bring structure to the money, clarity to the choices ahead, and calm to a period that often feels overwhelming. My role is not to replace legal advice, but to help you understand your financial position clearly, so conversations — with lawyers, banks, or your former partner — can be grounded in facts rather than fear.

Many women I support find that once they truly understand their numbers, discussions become more constructive and outcomes more balanced. In some cases, this clarity allows agreements to be reached more calmly and efficiently, with legal support used to formalise decisions rather than drive them.

How I Support You

This is not a single conversation or a one-off session. Support typically begins before separation and may continue for several weeks, providing steady guidance.

Financial clarity and preparation: We gather and organise your financial information so you understand where you stand and what matters before difficult conversations begin.

Understanding assets and obligations: Superannuation, property, savings, debts — everything is brought into view so decisions are informed, fair, and considered.

Confidence in difficult conversations: I help you approach discussions with clarity rather than fear, using facts, structure, and language that supports calm, constructive outcomes.

Moving from joint finances to independence: We simplify your money, establish practical systems for day-to-day living, and reduce stress around bills, housing, and cash flow.

Navigating banks and financial systems: From accounts and income to dealing with lenders, I remain alongside you through each financial transition.

Rebuilding beyond the immediate: Once stability is restored, we reset savings, review superannuation, and look beyond survival toward security, flexibility, and choice.

Ongoing guidance: Follow up after separation, as trusted sounding board on matters of finance involving you, and where relevant, for decisions involving your children.

Binding Financial Agreement (BFA): We direct you to and assist with obtaining a BFA through a legal firm (additional cost approx $200.00 direct to law firm)

A Steady Place to Start

You don’t need to be organised.
You don’t need to have answers.
You don’t need to know what the next step is.

You only need a safe place to begin.

From the moment you book your first conversation, the goal is simple: reduce the noise, restore clarity, and help you move forward with confidence — knowing your finances, your choices, and your future are being handled with care.

If you’d like support during this transition, we can begin with a quiet, confidential conversation
